The distribution was witnessed by BFAR PFO Chief Joseph Albert M. Uluan (fourth to the right) along with Teresita B. Testado – Municipal Agriculturist , and Septanne C. Redelosa – Municipal Fisheries Coordinator.

Prior to its distribution, Salustiano D. Alfar, Jr. who serves as the vice president of LFA, shared about the basic do’s and don’ts in stocking and rearing the fingerlings. He also reminded them of their duties and responsibilities as recipients of the program.

Hito fingerlings distributed are expected to be harvested by August this year, when the municipality will be celebrating its Foundation Anniversary. Hopefully, their harvested hito will be showcased during Kaumahan Booth Display.
